Text "Little critic about Mick Jagger's solo LP" (Jean Haristoy)
Better than I thought before. Some songs I really don't like, but there are some excellent songs, too ("Hard woman", "Secrets"). My main critic towards this album is the following: I understand that Ronnie or Bill make solo albums because their songs are not played by the Stones. But Mick has all the place he wants on Stones albums. I think if Mick makes solo albums, he has to accept Ron or Bill's songs on Stones LPs, too. Another thing: in the future Mick will have to choose his songs: the best for the Stones or for the solo album? And if Keith decides to do the same, keeping the best for himself, you will have Ron, Bill, Keith and Mick working on their own projects - and Charlie making the Stones LP all alone. It would be his solo album. We would have to wait five years for the next Stones album...
