Bobby Setter Band

Belgische Tanzmusikgruppe

Die Bobby Setter Band wurde 1963 von Bob Verhelst in Gent (Belgien) gegründet. In den 1970er Jahren war die Gruppe dreimal mit Fats Domino auf Tournee. Zu verschiedenen Zeiten ihrer Karriere firmierte die Gruppe auch als Bobby Setter Co. und als Bobby Setter Showband.

Für die Veröffentlichung ihrer vom Schweizer Werner Thomas geschriebenen Single Tchip tchip (1973) wurde die Gruppe vom Produzenten in Cash and Carry umbenannt. Die Single besetzte fünf Wochen lang Platz 1 der Schweizer Hitparade.

Diskografie
