Band Aid Le Concert
This one is an outstanding Live Aid remembrance book from France (megasize: 43 x 28 cm!), published by VSD. It holds really beautiful shots of all the performers of the concert, both in Philadelphia and London. On the whole there are 9 full pages with Mick or Keith or Ron on it, really excellent pictures!

It has a 2 pages report ("Sons D'Age") asking 33 French groups about their roots. First question: To what music did you listen when you was young? - 16 name (among others) the Rolling Stones, the Beatles are named only 7 times... Second question: Which musicians do you find important nowadays? - Only four groups (Bad Losers, Dogs, Jet Boys, Telephone) name the Stones but 11 name Prince. Third question: To which music do you listen to nowadays? - 8 bands still like the Stones (Bad Losers, Baroque, Bordello, Ticket, Dogs, Satanic Majesties, Le Baron, GPS) - a good occasion to call your attention to two excellent French rock groups, the Dogs and the Bad Losers. There is also a large photo of Keith!

Includes a 3 pages report about a Bob Dylan concert at New York's Madison Square Garden, including interesting facts about Ron Wood who hopped onstage for the encores. Recommended.

Awful! Besides of that the interview's anyway for the bulls (sorry, but it's made by Bill German), Beggars Banquet-interviews were never really interesting.

Contains a very interesting report (2 pages) about the forthcoming Stones album. The mag also holds 1 page about Bob Dylan, mainly about his 5LP box BIOGRAPH. The report says Dylan doesn't plan to release any of the material he cutted with Keith and Ronnie in several impromptu hotel room sessions.

This double number has lots of interesting things inside: pictures from the Live Aid concert, photos of Ron and Jo, Jerry Hall with children, Keith with Patti and baby, an ad for the LP Sun City, a 9 pages interview with Bill Graham (cf. IORR Vol. 18) and a review of Mick Jagger's LP She's the boss. On the last page there's a chart of the best-selling US albums in the first ten months of 1985: She's the boss ranks on place 34.
