MICHAEL BARTHEL / RFTS :
Eric Boros / Completely Fucked-Up Society / The Nautilus Deconstruction CDR
"father boros is eric and he's a practicing tea drinking pacifist, reading books in fresh air (prefer) and travel around by kayak, solo and with marylise and both's name of vialka. living in a small french town with the big name of st. jean des ollières, after squatting in switzerland and survive his teenage in canada. he was wearing the name of "hermit" through the 20. century, using nothing other than his solar-powered shortwave radio and his voice. all recorded live in geneve in the the year 2003 and it’s maybe the last document without his guitar!
pille isn't the real first name for weibel, but no one would call him other than this, so it's okay! i meet him first at bahnhof zoo in berlin, 1999, playing guitar with me the following days, and we toured together a lot in first years of the 21.century. he's a pacifist too, but squatting houses can be very violent to him sometimes ... he's trying to organize the university of nothing, never forget his history beeing a well know poet-activist in a sort of social-beat-scene, with his magazine "geiler geier". he’s painting also comics and was playing in a new wave band (he still wear a sister of mercy shirt). solo, he never play on stage; confronting himself with william s. burroughs idea of "cut-up-recordings" ... here, using own tapes, found sounds, field recordings from berlin 2000, and karl valentin (prefer)!
michael. well, first of he’s fanatic in wearing a mustache since a short time. always bankrupt, horrible ecocentric sometimes, reading derrida often and enjoy quiet music very much (using the image of "emo" ruin his life and make him a very melancholic and sad person). he’s spreading the dogma of "post-noise" and is maybe the most thin person i know in person. also, of course, he is the ex-lover of nautilus, and this long track is one of the best from the archive. a well edit cut-up collage, hard to listen to and the most abstract and consequent. a longer text about is imprinted in the layout. this longplayer is wrapped in a nice pink cover with photos on transparent paper."

Gerald Fiebig/Pille Weibel - Dissecting-table CD-R
Product number.: MAN019
the two half-hour live cuts on this album document two of the many sides of Swiss experimental musician Pille Weibel: free improvisation and noise music. Umbrella, a tender and harmonious solo guitar piece inspired by free jazz and new wave alike, was performed live on stage in Augsburg, Germany, February 2003. Sewing machine, a somewhat harsher piece, was recorded in an impromptu session the day before the show with Gerald Fiebig, one of the organisers of the concert, on synthesizer and Pille Weibel playing a mini-disc recording of a sewing machine.
