Das Videoportal Youtube (auch: YouTube) mit Sitz in San Bruno (California, USA) wurde 2005 gegründet und 2006 von Google übernommen. Über Youtube können die Benutzer kostenlos Videodateien ansehen und hochladen. Auf der Website befinden sich Film- und Fernsehausschnitte, Musikvideos sowie selbstgedrehte Filme. Sogenannte "Video-Feeds" können in Weblogs gepostet, oder auch einfach auf Webseiten über eine Programmierschnittstelle eingebunden werden.
