Anmerkungen

• "Night and day" ist eines der beliebtesten Lieder von Cole Porter.
• Cole Porter schrieb "Night and day" 1932 für das Musical Gay dicorce. Fred Astaire hatte darin die Hauptrolle und sang auch das Lied "Night and day", das er mit Leo Reisman und seinem Orchester aufnahm und das innerhalb von zwei Wochen Platz 1 der US-amerikanischen Hitparade erreichte.
• Vom Lied "Night and day" gibt es auch eine französischsprachige Fassung unter den Titeln "Nuit et jour" und "Tout le jour, toute la nuit".
• Annette und Inga Humpe sangen "Nuit et jour" im Film Haus Vaterland (Eine sehr deutsche Revue) (1983), wo sie vom Trio in langen Mänteln mit Feldstechern beobachtet wurden.
