Gemäss unserem Verantwortlichen für die Überwachung (Herr Schuler) müssten folgende Schritte getätigt werden um "SNMPv1 mit public community zu aktivieren": | |||
1. "rcsnmpd stop" (stoppt SNMP service) | |||
2. "chkconfig snmpd on" (setzt das flag, dass der SNMP service nach einem reboot automatisch gestartet wird) | |||
3. "vi /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf" - "rocommunity public" einfügen (setzt die Read Only community to public ohne sich an eine source IP zu binden, bitte alles auskommentieren ausser sys*) | |||
4. "rcsnmpd start" (startet SNMP service) | |||
