Erst 1912 begann die Gramophone Company Ltd in Grossbritannien ihre Aufnahmen auf doppelseitig bespielten Schallplatten herauszugeben. Dafür wurde das Plum-Label mit den Präfixen B (25 cm) und C (30 cm) geschaffen, auf dem überwiegend populäre Aufnahmen aus allen Genres vertreten waren. Das "Plum-Label" (das diskographisch weder ein Sub-Label noch eine Serie ist, sondern Farbe und Preiskategorie angibt) trug das Label His Master's Voice und bestand bis 1958.
