Schweizer Experimentalschriftsteller und -musiker ; geboren als Jean-Paul Weibel
Jean-Paul "Pille" Weibel aus Luzern gab Anfang der 1990er Jahre das Fanzine (Funzine) Geiler Geier heraus und hatte daneben mit Regenbogendistro und Gürteltiertapes auch ein Tape Label und einen Kleinvertrieb fuer Tapes, Fanzines und Untergrundliteratur. Für seine Tapecompilations suchte er beliebige Musikgruppen, Hauptsache kein "Kommerz Scheiss Dreck".
Später begann er dann auch selber Geräusche zu produzieren. Auf dem Album Dissecting-table (2003) etwa waren zwei halbstündige Liveaufnahmen enthalten, zum einen freie Improvisation, zum anderen Noise Music (also Lärm). Beim enthaltenen Titel "Umbrella" soll es sich um ein zartes, von Free Jazz und New Wave beeinflusstes Sologitarrenstück handeln, das im Februar 2003 in Augsburg aufgezeichnet wurde. Das Stück "Sewing machine" wurde am Tag zuvor mit Gerald Fiebig (Synthesizer) aufgenommen, einem der Konzerorganisatoren; Weibel spilet darauf die Mini-Disc-Aufnahme einer Nähmaschine.
