Editor, Translator of the Russians, owner of Pan-Europa Press, Samuel Beckett's agent & good friend, connected to Joyce & considered the Pre-eminent Surrealist Publisher with close ties to the Avant-Garde of French literature, Celine, certainly one of the most notable. Someone (Reavey?) has drawn in pencil a fine hand on the last page of text. A Cornerstone of Modern World Literature.
