Die Broadcast Music, Inc. / BMI in New York ist eine 1941 gegründete Verwertungsgesellschaft. Sie brach das Monopol der American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers und ermöglichte den Einzug von Blues, Folk und Country-Musik in die US-amerikanischen Rundfunkprogramme.
